Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy was awarded Golden medals at the TESLA FEST 2021

Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy has participated in the International Festival of Innovation, Knowledge and Creativity TESLA FEST 2021 held in Novi Sad, October 12 -15, 2021 and organized by the Association of Inventors Vojvodina. Within the exhibition Novel Multifunctional Biomaterials for Applications in Medicine (Veljović Đorđe, Đošić Marija, Zvicer Jovana, Zebić Maja, Janaćković Đorđe, Janković Ana, Matić Tamara, Miletić Vesna, Nešović Katarina, Obradović Bojana, Osmokrović Andrea, Petrović Rada, Mišković Stanković Vesna, Stevanović Milena and Stojkovska Jasmina), a range of novel biomaterials were presented as well as the novel biomimetic bioreactor system for biomedical research. Development of these novel biomaterials is also the subject of the European project ExcellMater (https://excellmater.tmf.bg.ac.rs/) coordinated by the Faculty, which was presented at the Tesla fest as well. The innovation was awarded the Golden medal.

 

 

Also, the Faculty was awarded the WIPO medal for significant contribution to inventive and innovative activity and national wealth and development.

 

 

The University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, bestowed the Excellence Innovation Award to the team of Prof. Bojana Obradović for the invention Novel biomimetic perfusion bioreactor system for biomedical research.
