        The goalStudying English in the fields of fundamental sciences which are learnt in the first year of undergraduate studies. Revising general English as a basis for studying ESP.
        The outcomeEnabling students to acquire knowledge in this foreign language so that it can help them achieve there professional goals, use internet for professional and other purposes, read literature from scientific fields, write papers.
        Contents
        Contents of lectures I ESP(English for specific purposes):Numbers and dimensions, describing objects, shape, reading more complex formulae. GE (General English): Past tenses, future tenses, present perfect tense. II ESP:Describing angles and lines, reading basic formulae, reading more complex formulae.GE: Comparatives nad superlatives, modal verbs for ability. III ESP:Describing position, movement and action, direction. GE: First conditional, used to and would, present simple and continuous for future. IV ESP: Describing qualities of materials, colours, appearance, describing a simple process and experiment.GE:Defining relative clauses, present perfect with yet, already, just; second conditional. V ESP: Classification, definition and description; describing and predicting, detailed description. GE: Verb constructions with –ing/infinitive, past perfect simple, passive constructions.
        Contents of exercisesPractical part takes place at the practice classes where ESP is revised and general English also.
