The goalThe course introduces the students to basics and principles of the combustion theory. Course discusses the energy and mass balances of the combustion processes, kinetics of the combustion chemical reactions of gaseous fuels and flame propagation in gases. Students gain knowledge on ignition and flammability limits. During this course, the students learn about gaseous detonation and combustion of gaseous, liquid and solid fuels, as well as basics of the air pollution by the combustion processes.
The outcomeStudents are able to design and control combustion processes on the bases of technological, economic and environmental parameters
