The goalThe course has been designed to give a theoretical and practical knowledge concerning the obtaining, structure, properties and application of technical fibers. The acquired knowledge enables the student to develop multi-disciplinary approach to new materials and technologies, and the work autonomy in research, as well as to design new technical textile materials.
The outcomeStudents will be able to use acquired knowledge about technical fibers as a theoretical and practical basis in scientific research and professional work in the field of textile materials and technical textile materials. Students will acquire fundamental knowledge on processes of technical fiber obtaining, and develop ability for critical analysis of existing knowledge and predict behaviour of these materials in exploitation. Also, students will be able to conduct research, design the project tasks and make strategic decisions.
