      The goalThe aim of this course is to introduce students to the role and importance of vitamins in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics products and their interaction with other components of the product, during production and storage.
      The outcomeUpon completion of the course the student should be able to use the specialized knowledge that would enable him to properly select, protect, and determine the activity of vitamin in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics products.

      Contents of lecturesThe course introduces students with the vitamins, their types, structures, biochemical roles, physical and chemical properties, the methods to determine activity, ways of biosynthesis and modes of production.
