      The goalStudents are introduced to the basics of: Design, analyze and manage of production in the chemical process industry, within the enterprise as an integrated system; Digitally integrated production, through the functional and information integration of production systems into a complex and synchronized system, using specialized software tools; Methods and techniques of continuous improvement of production.
      The outcomeStudents are to be enabled to: Recognize the components of production and business systems; recognize and understand the importance of production and products as the purpose of the production system; Participate in the design of production processes; organize production within other basic functions of the enterprise; Participate in the operation of computer integrated manufacturing; Participate in enterprise resource planning; Participate in decision-making and process management support analysis;

      Contents of lecturesOrganization and design of production systems: process organization and management; suppply-chain; enterprise resource planning; products and capacity; material and energy flows; location and layout of the production plant; organizational structure of the production system; production system performances analyze. Digital integration of production systems: computer integrated manufacturing; engineering databases and knowledge; software support for multicriteria process analysis. Continuous production improvement: Lean process state analysis methods and techniques; Lean tools for identifying and eliminating equipment loss; daily production management
