The goalThe objective of this course is to extend the students knowledge on polymer properties, polymerization methods and characterization. Analysing the manufacturing processes of the common polymers, the students learn how selection of raw materials, proper polymerization technique and process monitoring can affect the properties of final produtcs.
The outcomeAfter the students fulfilled all the requirements and passed the exam, they are capable to select a proper polymerization method to get desired polymer properties, capable to control the porcess and final product. Based on the previously acquired knowledge, as well as those acquired in this course, the students are capable to solve basic problems in practice.
