The goalThe aim of this course is to introduce students to selected technologies and conditioned molding and core making in terms of physical, chemical and thermal phenomena affect the final quality of the cast, both aesthetically and in terms of usage.
The outcomeStudents are trained in the proper selection of the required technological process for the design of castings and tools for their creation.
      Contents
Contents of lecturesThe course introduces students to the physical and chemical processes and phenomena at high temperatures in the area of direct contact between the liquid metal and the mold wall. Program case includes the effect of type and composition of the molds and cores at the process itself , and hence its structure , features and quality.
