Lecturer/Associate (for OTC)
    Condition-Облик условљености
    The goalUnderstanding welding and soldering metallurgy through knowledge of particular features of non equilibrium reactions and kinetics in weld metal, heat affected zone and base metal.
    The outcomeStudent will be trained to properly select welding parameters which will, together with selected welding proces, provide required microstructure and appropriate mechanical properties of weld joint
    Contents of lecturesIntroduction. Melting of commercial alloys. Formation of weld pool. Reactions in liquid metal drop. reactions in weld pool. Formation of slag. Removal of slag. Solidification of weld metal. Microstructures. Microstructure modifications in heat affected zone. mechanisma nad . Equilibrium and non equilibrium kinetics. Defects and inhomogenities. ;
    Contents of exercisesCase studies on welding metallurgy of different steels, irons, aluminium alloys and titanium alllooys.
