    The goalUnderstanding welding and soldering metallurgy through knowledge of particular features of non equilibrium reactions and kinetics in weld metal, heat affected zone and base metal.
    The outcomeStudent will be trained to properly select welding parameters which will, together with selected welding proces, provide required microstructure and appropriate mechanical properties of weld joint

Solidification of weld metal. Microstructures. Microstructure modifications in heat affected zone. mechanisma nad . Equilibrium and non equilibrium kinetics. Defects and inhomogenities. ;
