      The goalThe aim of the course is to provide the students the knowledge of dependence between structure, properties and applications of materials that are used as components in electronic devices (capacitors, actuators, senzors, storage devices etc.). ;
      The outcomeGaining knowledge required for creation and application of electroceramic materials. ; Gaining qualifications for creative work on production and application of existing and new functional materials in electronics. ;
      Contents
      Contents of lecturesIntroduction to electroceramics; Basic principles (based on chemistry, phisics and mathematics); The properties - applications relationship; Basic electroceramic materials: insulators, highly conductive ceramics, ceramic capacitor materials, piezoelectric and electro-optic ceramics, ferrite ceramics, ceramic sensors, varistors; Properties and characterization; Production methods; Application in electronics. ;
