    The goalThe aim of this course is to inform students on the industrial packaging procedures and systems for different type of products. Teh aim of this course is also to make student able to participate in the packaging process in different packaging departments.
    The outcomeThe student is qualified to choose the proper packaging system for paricular product, as well as to organize packaking procedure for variety of products.
    Contents
    Contents of lecturesClasification of packaging systems. Packaging systems for liquids. Packaging systems for powdered and granular products. Packaging systems for products of arbitrary shape. Packaging systems in food industry. Packaging in inert atmosphere. Packaging systems for pharmaceutical industry. Sterile packaging. Packaging systems for cometics. High pressure packaging systems. Paletization and containers.
    Contents of exercisesCalculation exercises. Visiting a factory that utilizes different packaging systems.
