The goalThe aim of the course is to provide students with the theoretical basis of electrochemical technologies, to train them for the calculation of the electrochemical parameters of technological processes in industrial production and to gain knowledge of the basic measurements of physical, chemical and technological parameters of manufacturing processes and the interpretation of the results.
The outcomeStudents are able to apply previously acquired knowledge of electrochemistry in the analysis of the processes in electrochemical reactors. Mastered the mathematical models of mass transfer and electrochemical operation regime in different types of reactors. They became acquainted with the technical and technological aspects of the electrochemical production and the basic principles of optimization of electrochemical manufacturing processes. Students are trained to experimentally determine parameters of the electrochemical reactor and to analyze the results. In this way the course give him the necessary theoretical basis for further study and application of various electrochemical technologies.
