    The goalIntroduction to the up to date technology of clothing manufacture and equipment as well as work organization in manufacturing facilities.
    The outcomeStudents acquire the complete knowledge of up to date technology of clothing manufacture becoming well qualified to work in different scetors of clothing industry.
    Contents
    Contents of lecturesThe course covers the basic principles of technical preparation (construction, technological and operative preparation) for clothing production. All the technological process stages of processing of main and auxiliary materials into garments are described. In addition to technological operations, internal transport systems and quality control are also described. The application of computer systems in clothing production is explained. The utility characteristics of main and auxiliary materials which are important from the aspect of manufacturing technology and garment quality are discussed.
    Contents of exercisesThe analysis of utility characteristics of main and auxiliary clothing textile materials. Calculation of the consumption of main and auxiliary materials. Calculation of the data necessary to perform technological and operative preparation.
