      The goalThe aime of the course it to make students familiar with physiologically active compounds and the formulation of complete preparations.
      The outcomeThe students acquire knowledge about basics of pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmaceutical technology, with the accent on the formulation of complete preparations and different pharmaceutical forms.
      Contents
      Contents of lecturesThe course includes the following parts: introduction to pharmaceutical chemistry, deiscovery of new drugs, active substance, pharmaceutical ingradients, pro-drug, additional substances, physico-chemical characterization of active substances, physical and chemical drug stability, pharmaceutical forms up-to-date drug carriers.
      Contents of exercisesThe study research work: ; Basic characteristics of a drug, laboratory and industrial synthesis overview, optimal synthesis suggestion, industrial preparation plan, overview of raw materials, pharmacological effects and significance. ;
