    The goalThe aim of the course is to master the techniques for pattern cutting of main textile materials, linings and interlinings. Introduction to the features of computer generated design and pattern making (construction, modeling and grading).
    The outcomeStudents complete the acqisition of knowledge and competence in he field of patterns cutting for women’s wear, menswear and children’s wear.

    Contents of lecturesThe methods and techniques of pattern cutting (main textile materials, linings and interlinings) for women’s wear, menswear and children’s wear are included in the course. The methods of pattern grading for women’s wear, menswear and children’s wear together with the principles of pattern cutting for stretch and knitted fabrics are given. CAD/CAM systems for pattern making (modeling and grading) are explained.
    Contents of exercisesPattern cutting of basic women’s, men’s and children’s clothing items including linings and interlinings.
