The goalThe aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the fundamental and advanced aspects of the mechanical and deformation behavior of materials under different stress states.
The outcomeThe students will be able to understand and analyze mechanical and deformation behavior of materials- They will be highly skilled for teamwork and constructive discussion and for the clear formulation and presentation of different scientific tasks and ways of their solution.
      Contents
Contents of lecturesCourse "Mechanical behavior of materials"covers various fundamental and advanced aspects of the mechanical and deformation behavior of materials: deformation mechanics, principles of analysis of strain hardening, the elements of the theory of elasticity and plasticity, the specific behavior of materials such as superplasticity, creep, viscoelasticity. It deals with the analysis of plastic instability and the possibilities of defining the formability limits of the materials.
