    The goalDeveloping students' English speaking and writing skills for academic research purposes within their disciplines. Preparing students, future researchers, for independent research, purposeful use of research-related sources and writing in English.
    The outcomeStudents acquire competencies necessary for writing research papers in English in accordance with the standards relevant to their discipline, preparing spoken presentations on their research topics and active participation in seminar discussions and workshops in English within their discipline.
    Contents
    Contents of lecturesThe course syllabus introduces students to the concept and structure of research papers and spoken presentations in English in their discpline with an emphasis on aquisition of relevant vocabulary and syntax.
    Contents of exercisesStudents develop skills for reading, understanding and writing academic texts, speaking and presenting through a variety of exercises and discussions.
