    The goalBasic knowledge of society, social structure and development, characteristic of a modern society and importan social phenomena. Such a knolegde represents geneal culture as well as proffesiona one, as the awareness of the socitety is important for the development of one professional qualities.
    The outcomeSociology gives basic knowlegde of scientific categoria and knowlegde which enable the easier acqisition of knowlegde of course with a certain social dimension (economics, eccology, management). It is easier to understand the effect of technological changes on society.

    Contents of lecturesThe beginning and development of sociology; the most important sociology theorie; research methods; proces of globalization; nations and nationalism; society classes; family and marrage; religion; mass media and communications; industrial and technological revolution; division of work; new technologies; social changes and postidutrial society; sustainable development and enviroment.
    Contents of exercisesPracitce in theoretical subjects and practical application of some sociological research techniques. (questionaries, statistic methods etc.)
