    The goalThe course is designed to provide fundamental knowledge of general physics that has a direct impact on engineering practice. Students get acquainted with basic physical quantities and units, material point and rigid body kinematics, dynamic quantities and laws, oscillatory and wave motion, phenomena in fluids, molecular-kinetic theory, and heat physics.
    The outcomeIntroducing students to basic physical laws and metrological evaluation of measurement results. Training students to apply physical laws in solving simpler versions of different engineering problems.
