The goalThis course aims to provide a general understanding, as well as acquiring knowledge about theoretical and practical aspects of modern organic industrial syntheses. Students become familiar with: different levels and basic characteristics of industrial chemical production, fundamentals of chemical industrial processes and their infrastructure requirements, possibilities for successful and safe processes management. Individual work allows students to get knowledge to apply it in the industrial environment.
The outcomeAfter the students fulfilled all the requirements and passed the exam, they acquired knowledge about processes and environmental aspects of organic industrial syntheses; ability to communicate effectively in both, oral and written form. Based on the previously acquired knowledge, as well as those acquired in this course, the students are capable to solve basic problems in practice.
