      The goalThis course is an overview of metal material processing and applications that are out of the traditional domain of structural materials as well as current research trends.
      The outcomeThe acquired knowledge will enable students to have a grasp of the current development and applications of advanced metal materials.

      Contents of lecturesThin metal films:deposition, processing and characterization of thin films and applications.Metallic glasses: processing, characterization and applications.Metal foams and nanofoams. High entropy alloys: synthesis and properties; applications and future development.
      Contents of exercisesPractices: utilization of theoretical knowledge in solving problems and calculations in the domain of study.
