      The goalThe objective of the course is to acquire knowledge about the significance of the quality control of textile materials, as well as to expand practical knowledge gained in the earlier phases of study. Besides, qualifying for a multidisciplinary approach to quality control of the textile materials is the objective of this course.
      The outcomeTraining students to independent perform and carry out of the quality control, as well as managing the quality of textile materials.
      Contents
      Contents of lecturesThe course enables students to acquire knowledge in the field of quality control of textile materials. Students become familiar with: the concept of product quality and factors affecting product quality, policy, planning and development of the quality, the human resources necessary for the realization of quality control, methods to quality control of textile materials, the statistical quality control by the application of control cards as well as the methods of the assessment of quality costs.
      Contents of exercisesProject assignment related to the analysis of the quality of textile material (woven, knitted or nonwoven) in terms of their using value, determined on the basis of the relevant properties for the investigated textile material.
