      The goalThe aim of the subject is to train the students to use page layout, bit-map editing and vector illustration editing software on middle and advanced level. Students should be able to create output files for high quality printing process.
      The outcomeStudent can proffesionally use software for creating and editing page-layout, bit-maps and vector based illustrations. They know how to create output files for high qulity printing process.

      Contents of lecturesIntroduction. Vector based illustrations. Basic tools. Advanced techniques for creating and editing vector-based illustrations. Bit-map editing. Basic tools. Advanced techniques for creating and editing bit-mapped illustrations. Integration of the illustration and text. Creating the page lay-out. Electronic imposition. Creating output files (PDF).
      Contents of exercisesLectures; practical excercises is performed directly on computer and they follow lectures.
