In the 2025 Shanghai Ranking (Academic Ranking of World Universities, ARWU), the University of Belgrade was once again ranked among the top 500 universities globally, placing in the 401–500 range.
The University of Belgrade has also maintained an excellent position this year, as in previous years, in fields studied at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy.
Cleaner Production Centre of Serbia from Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy and Yale University started joint work in the field of green chemistry and green engineering.
