The goal | Knowledge attainment in the field of reactor design referred to: concept of ideal chemical reactors, design of ideal reactors, nonisothermal reactor design, unstady-state operation of ideal reactors, kinetic data analyses and rector design for multiple reactions. | |||
The outcome | On the basis of the knowledge gained in this course, students are capable of solving simpler problems regarding design of laboratory and industrial chemical reactors. | |||

Contents of lectures | Mole balances for ideal reactors, conversion and reactor sizing; Rate laws and stoichiometry; Ishotermal reactor design; Collection and analysis of rate data; Plug flow reacor with recycle and auto-catalytic reactions; Nonisothermal reactor design; Reactor design for multiple reactions. | |||
