    The goalThe aim of the course is to master the methods of construction, modeling and completing the cuts of clothing items. Introduction to the features of computer-generated design and pattern making (construction, modeling, and grading).
    The outcomeStudents acquire the knowledge and skills to construct, model, and complete cuts of women's and men's clothing.
    Contents
    Contents of lecturesThe course introduces basic principles of clothing anthropometry, as well as the effects of body shape and posture on the construction and modeling of clothing patterns. The sizing systems and European and Serbian size standards are provided, along with instructions for calculating secondary measures. The methods and techniques of pattern cutting (main textile materials, linings, and interlinings) for women’s and menswear are presented. The methods of pattern grading for women's and men's wear are provided, along with the principles of pattern cutting for stretch and knitted fabrics.
    Contents of exercisesPattern cutting of basic women’s and men’s clothing items including linings and interlinings.
