        The goalThe aim of thе course is to learn the procedures for making printing foprms for different printing techniques. Student should be able to control the qulity of printing form as well as of process parameters. Student should be able to improve existing procedure for maikng printing forms. Student should be able to oganize and lead work in the printing form making department.
        The outcomeThe student is qualified to organize and manage the procedure of making printing forms for all p[rinting techniques, to follow developments in this field and to control the quality of printing forms as well as process parameters. The student is qualified to organiye and lead the work in department for making printing forms.
        Contents
        Contents of lecturesDefinition and classification of CtP systems. Constructon and working principles of CtP imaging units. Laser. Construction of recording head. Classification of CtP systems for offset printing forms. Themral, violet, UV, ink-jet systems. Automatization and adjusting the CtP systems for offset printing forms. Classification of the CtP system for leterpres and flexo printing. Analogue, digital, fim laminating, laser engraving and direct imaging systems. Adjusting the CtP systems for making flexo and letterpress printing forms. Equipment for making flexo printing forms. Construction of gravure printing form. Electrochemical preparation of form cylinder. Engraving methods for creating printing elements on cylinder surface. Electromechanical and laser engraving, chemical etching. Making printing form for pad printing. Making printing form for silk printing. Coping. Control of the process parameters an quality of printing forms.
