The goal | The goal of the course is to introduce students to the basic as well as advanced knowledge of homogenous and heterogenous catalysis in organic chemistry. | |||
The outcome | Student will acquire the expertise to critically analyze and link new and complex ideas, the ability to develop new ideas and a good understanding of the learning process. Student will analyze, evaluate and connect new and complex ideas and be able to make strategic decisions. | |||

Contents of lectures | Basic principles of catalysis. Homogenous and heterogenous catalysis. Phase-transfer catalysis. Asymmetric catalysis. Photocatalysis of organic molecules. Enzyme catalyzed reactions. | |||
