    The goalThe aim of the course is to inform the students of computer application in textile industry for design, measurements, control, regulation and modeling of the processes.
    The outcomeThe students gain basic knowledge on applying computer for design, measurement, data aquisition, control and regulation of the processes.
    Contents
    Contents of lecturesGraphic arts programs for vector-based illustrations (CorelDraw). Graphic arts programs for bit mapped illustrations (Adobe Photoshop). A/D and D/A convertors and systems for data aquisituion. Lab View as a sample program for controlling data aquisition system. Editing the collected data (Microsoft Excel, Origin). Fundamentals of the regulation of processes using the computer. Process modeling. Mat Lab as a sample program for modeling and regulation.
    Contents of exercisesWorking on vector based illustrations - CorelDRAW. Working on bit-mapped illustrations - Adobe PhotoShop.. Working on editing the collected data - Microsoft Excel, Origin. Modeling of the process - MatLab.
