| The goal | This course is designed to provide a fundamental aspects of polymerization in hetergoneiuos systems, especially emulsion polymerization and application in industry. | |||
| The outcome | After the students fulfilled all the requirements and passed the exam, they acquired konwledge about basic principles and polymerization techniques in heterogeniuos systems; capable to select a proper synthesis technique to get desired final product; capable to monitor process and final product. | |||

| Contents of lectures | 1. Purpose and application of polymerizations in heterogeniuos systems. 2. Emulsion polymerization: traditional and inverse emulsion polymerization. 3. A latex synthesis, propeeties and application. 4. Suspoension polymerization. 5. Dispersion polymerization. 6. Micro- and nano-emulsions. 7. Application of surfactnats in heterogenious polyemrization. 8. Characterization of the obtained polymers. | |||
