      The goalThe aim of the course is to provide basic theoretical and practical knowledge about the structure, properties, obtaining, and application of textile materials.
      The outcomeStudents will be able to use acquired knowledge on textile materials as a basis for the acquisition of new knowledge in the area of textile engineering and its application in practical work.
      Contents
      Contents of lecturesThe course has been designed to provide basic knowledge about textile materials including fibers, yarns, and fabrics (woven, knitted, and nonwoven fabrics).
      Contents of exercisesLaboratory practice covers the characterization of morphology and identification of the main class of fibers including their blends, as well as determination of main properties of yarns and fabrics.
